TLD's Seely Propels To Podium Finish at Round 3 of Monster Energy Supercross

Anaheim, Calif (January 21, 2017) - Troy Lee Designs rider Cole Seely put in his best ride of the season at Angel Stadium where he finished on the podium in third. His first time on the podium in 2017 also helped propel him into third overall in the championship standings

While Seely didn't post the fastest lap time during qualifying, he was able to quickly transfer to the main event through the heat race. Lining up well for the main event, Seely was one of the first bikes through the first turn. He settled into third and was able to hold off pressure throughout 20 minutes plus one lap main event.

"My goal after starting the season off the podium was to put in solid rides so I can be in the mix for the point's standings." said Seely. "It's always good to walk way with podium, but we're right there when it comes to the overall standings. I know I have plenty to work on and I'm looking forward to building off this finish."
